Salford Strategic Housing Partnership
Salford Strategic Housing Partnership is a dynamic forum of key organisations concerned with housing in Salford. They have come together to:
"Help create a future where Salford will be a great place to live, work and prosper. Where a range of affordable, good quality and energy efficient homes can be found within well planned and desirable neighbourhoods.”
Salford Strategic Housing Partnership enables key stakeholders to contribute and lead on the delivery of the new housing strategy ‘Our Home Our City 2020 to 2025’. The partners maintain an oversight of the delivery of the strategy, and as well as having a key part to play to improve housing and housing services in Salford, will monitor progress on its delivery considering new and innovative approaches to achieve its objectives.
How the housing partnership is made up
Membership of the partnership is focused to ensure that its contribution remains effective and is made up of representatives from the following organisations, interest groups and sectors:
- Salford City Council including regulatory/housing strategy teams and joint health and social care commissioners
- Statutory Deputy City Mayor with the lead for Housing and Neighbourhoods
- Salford University
- Registered social landlords including for example:
The partnership meets quarterly.
Our work programme and priorities are currently under review and will be informed by the wider review and update of Salford’s Housing Strategy.
