About the Salford Integrated Care Partnership
Salford Integrated Care Partnership (Salford ICP) forms part of the Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership (Greater Manchester ICP).
Greater Manchester ICP brings together all health and social care partners across Greater Manchester and wider public sector and community organisations to improve the health and wellbeing of the 2.8 million people who live in Greater Manchester.
Salford ICP does the same within Salford. Its role is to focus on the shared priorities within the Locality Plan and, by working together, improve health, wellbeing and care for the population of Salford.
Salford ICP system priorities for 2024/25 were approved on 27 June 2024.
Purpose of the committee
Salford ICP Committee’s purpose is to be the local system board, bringing together senior leaders for the NHS (primary, secondary, community and mental health), local authority (adults, children and public health) and the VCSE (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise) sector.
The committee is also responsible for managing the Integrated Commissioning Fund between Salford City Council and NHS Greater Manchester (Salford) covering health and care in Salford. As such it oversees performance, quality and funding for children, adults, public health and some NHS services in Salford.
