Early Help Assessments now in use

Early Help Assessments have replaced Family Assessments.

The Early Help Assessment (EHA) was launched 1 November 2018. Along with Team Around the Family (TAF) it is designed to promote integrated working and family participation. It is strength/asset-based, and will be quicker and easier to complete. It will help ensure families and individuals get the support they need before problems escalate.

If you are about to start a new assessment, or hold a TAF meeting, please use the EHA. Download it from www.salford.gov.uk/children-and-families/safeguarding-children/advice-for-professionals/early-help-assessment-and-taf

Our briefings on this are now complete. You can contact the EHA team on 0161 603 4239.
