- Healthcare Commission new national targets - audit of suicide prevention, Community Mental Health Teams (older age), data quality on ethnic group, patient experience, infection control and smoke-free NHS
- Healthcare Commission core standards
- Auditor Local Evaluation (ALE) - financial reporting, financial management, financial standing, internal control and value for money
- Financial performance - breakeven duty, in-year financial balance, capital cost absorption, manage within External Financial Limit, manage within Capital Limit Resource and comply with Better Payment Practice Code
- Access and New Models of Care Targets - outpatient (13 weeks) and inpatient (26 weeks) waiting lists, primary care psychology waiting lists and Choose and Book fully booked targets
- Local Delivery Plan (LDP) targets - implementation of National Service Framework, for example, number of assertive outreach, crisis resolution and early intervention in psychosis teams in place and people in treatment
- 7-day follow-up (100%) and emergency readmissions within 28 days of discharge

- Continued provision of high quality specialist health and social care services for individuals with acute, severe and enduring, and chronic mental health and substance misuse needs
- Application for NHS FOundation Trust status - including development of cohesive five-year business plan; agreement of legally-binding contracts with commissioners; and establishment of a membership and Council of Governors
- Functionality review of Trust estates
- Continued progress against key targets
- Ongoing engagement with key statutory and non-statutory partners
