Manchester Enterprises works with stakeholders in Greater Manchester to:
- Create robust, evidence-based strategic plans
- Align private and public investment to their strategic plans
- Commission, research and deliver projects
- Provide programme management services

Organisation's main activities in 2007
- Maximising the level of North West Development Agency investment within Greater Manchester
- Maximising the impact of private sector investment within Greater Manchester through local economic benefit to its community
- Ongoing research and policy development to align with Government and EU developments
- Co-ordination with Manchester: Knowledge Capital on climate change

Additional information
John is a member of the Charlestown and Lower Kersal New Deal for Communities board and chair of NDC's Business & Employment Group. He is a chartered town planner.
