Organisation's aims/vision
The Faith Forum in Salford aims to
- Support the work of the faith representative on the local strategic partnership (LSP)
- Enable faith communities to engage more strategically and effectively with key partners in Salford
- Support and advise faith communities to work together in Salford

Organisation's key targets
The forum's targets have mainly been around getting more people of faith involved in the forum and raising awareness of the need for faith communities to participate more effectively in all aspects of the life of the city.
Key people from the faith community are on a number of strategic bodies, for example the Police Independent Advisory Group, and the Faith Forum hopes to be able to contribute to the LSP's aims around cohesion, in particular.

Organisation's main activities in 2007
- Strengthening the steering group
- Arranging meetings and events for faith communities
- Supporting the faith representative on the LSP
- Making new contacts with people of faith in Salford
- Making new links with the university of Salford and Salford's colleges and the Faith in Further Education project
- Looking for funding
- Linking with the faith network for Manchester
- Being involved in setting up a new drop-in centre, Salford Loaves and Fishes, for homeless people in Salford
