Training and support

Partners IN Salford offer training to support Salford's Community Engagement Strategy and to support effective partnership working. Training is open to staff in all our partner organisations and will build on existing good practice and develop the knowledge, skills and commitment required to carry out effective in community engagement.

Training is supported in three ways, by

Offering a rolling programme of training for officers around community engagement and partnership working
Coordinating lunchtime learning sessions which provide an informal learning opportunity for community engagement practitioners to share their expertise.
Advising organisations who are planning consultation and engagement activities on good practice in community engagement and consultation.

We are currently developing a new training programme to support the implementation of the community engagement strategy and the effective development of Salford's local area agreement.
