Family Poverty - a priority for us all

Tuesday 31 January 2012

1.00pm - 5.00pm

Salford Suite, Civic Centre, Salford

Family poverty damages people's lives trapped in vicious circles of unemployment, low educational attainment and poor health. People in poor families are more likely to be affected by crime, poor housing and surroundings.

This conference provided delegates a chance to find out what is being done to tackle family poverty through the family poverty strategy Better off in Salford and what we can do together about it.

Progress against the Partnership's other priorities was also reviewed and it was agreed which priorities are the right ones for the next year.
