Emotional Friendly Schools

The Emotionally Friendly Schools (EFS) programme is a flexible, whole-school approach to improving children's mental health and wellbeing. It is supported by Salford Educational Psychology Service.

The Emotionally Friendly Schools manual - primary schools (login required) and Emotionally Friendly Schools manual - secondary schools (login required) cover the process of becoming an Emotionally Friendly School. They focus on four key areas:

1. Staff Wellbeing and School Ethos
2. Classroom Practice
3. Assessing Children's Needs
4. Supporting Individual Children

If you have attended the EFS training you should have received login details for the EFS manual.
