CPD for Secondary Schools

Secondary Inclusion Service

Continuing Professional Development offer for Salford Secondary Schools - 2018

We are very excited to share with you the CPD offer for mainstream Salford secondary schools.

Over the last few years, the Social. Emotional and Mental Health of children and young people has become a widely discussed area, both locally and nationally. We are facing increasing challenges around SEMH and levels of engagement across our schools, which is impacting on attendance and engagement, teaching and learning, and ultimately, academic outcomes.

This comprehensive offer has been developed by SIS with input from the Education Psychology Service, and links to the Emotionally Friendly Schools agenda and accreditation.

The CPD sessions will support, develop and add value to the work you are already doing in schools around meeting the needs of children and young people who present challenge in the mainstream environment. They will support early intervention approaches for those CYP in need of additional support via increased knowledge, skills and understanding.

The sessions are relevant to all adults in secondary mainstream education settings. They can be attended as a set or as 'one off' sessions.

To book a place, please send an email with your Name, School, Role and the session you would like to attend to:
