Annual performance review

Up until now, every year our partnership's performance in closing the gap has been assessed by Government Office for the North West (GONW). GONW measured our performance in six key areas:

health
crime
housing
worklessness
education
environment

In 2005-06, Partners IN Salford was assessed as amber/red.

However, in future we will be assessed in a different way that will look at residents' whole experience of living in an area. This new assessment method will be called a Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA) and will be introduced in 2009.
